You are named sword, yet in your eyes two swords I see

One is loose to slay me, the other two restrain

Is not one sword enough for killing blows?

That two should be allowed to cause me pain?

I'm captive to you, while both your lashes hold me fast

My captor and captive both in sorrow's chain

O sword that holds dear one captive in its grasp

Release him gently, if you wish him free again
