For God what the vulture etched in my liver

For whom tomorrow and the dew are like the soul and body

The unique, my father of the army which my hands

Victoriously seized from him the best souls among people

The wise in opinion among the banners, his pleasure

Is in seriousness and generosity, not in an easy life

When the highs see him, they call him eloquently

O delight of the eye! Nay, O piece of the liver
