This religion's law is better than any creed

It stands fast, is not abrogated nor abrogates

Strange wonders have come, woe to us!

It's as if we live in a world bewitched

The body's like a garment on its spirit

To be stripped off, recreated or wear out

Be the offspring righteous or corrupt

Like a branch from its father's root has sprung
