You seek to heal what ails the people
Curb your zeal, their malady defies healing
Beware a scorpion that in outrage may sting you
Or a viper lurking to pounce
These days have enlightened you
Yet you show no comprehension
Your faith is not mine to judge
So I pardon what you hide in malice
When a man spares me harm
Quenched and at peace through life he will be
He may study Moses' book
And cherish loyalty to Shu'ayb
