When the Indian has burned himself with fire,
When the Hindu burns himself with fire
and neither flesh nor bone remains for the earth,
No shred remains for dust, no bone or ash.
does he then fear Nakīr and Munkar,
Does he then fear the Questioners' ire
and a grave's crushing pressure, which no frame can withstand?
Or squeezed inside a grave, its stony clash?
