1. إِن طابَ خَيمُكَ في الدُنيا فَلا تَخِمِ

    وَلا تَضَنَّ بِمَقتولٍ عَلى الرَخَمِ

    If your tent is pitched well in this life, do not fret

    And do not be stingy towards the slain atop the sands

  2. فَالجِسمُ إِن زايَلَتهُ الروحُ صارَ لَقىً

    كَلّاً عَلى القَومِ ما فيهِ مِنَ الضَخَمِ

    For the body, once the soul has left it, becomes but carrion

    A burden upon the people due to its mass
