ما زُلتُ في الغَمَراتِ لَستُ بِخالِصٍ

مِنهُنَّ فَاِشتُ عَلى رَجائِكَ أَو قِظِ

I'm still lost in confusion, with no escape

So I call upon your hope - Wake up!

وَمِنَ البَرِيَّةِ مَن يَعيبُ بِجَهلِهِ

أَهلَ السِناتِ وَلَيسَ بِالمُتَيَقِّظِ

And from the wilderness comes one who in ignorance

Finds fault with the wise, though he is not enlightened
