None of its sons are wise and mild,

Who races to stir up strife reviled.

    Submitting to fate though grim,

Each takes what is dealt compiled.

Lord, when do I leave my world?

You know people well and wise.

The ruler, the ruled, the rich, the poor

And the safe alike meet their demise.

Pharaoh gained no joy from it

Nor did Moses the Exalted live serene.
