How often has man tried to possess the world

With his might and wealth, yet it eluded him,

While a frail soul may yearn for the hereafter,

No wise man doubts it shall be granted to him.

Death gallops after the stout lions

Snatching them midst their dens and mates.

The fair maid with twin ear-rings counting them,

Has become a reward for the washer of the dead.
