1. ظُهورُ الرِكابِ عِندَ اللَبيبِ

    أَولى بِهِ مِن ظُهورِ الطُرُق

    The appearance of riders to the wise

    Is preferable over the appearance of roads

  2. فَاِن راقَهُ مَنظَرٌ مَسَّهُ

    بِإِثمٍ وَيُؤذيهِ إِن لَم يَرُق

    For if a view pleases whoever it touches

    It harms him if it does not please

  3. إِذا لَم تُعِن أَو تُغِث شاكِياً

    فَإِنَّ الجُلوسَ عَلَيها خُرُق

    If you do not help or save a complainer

    Then sitting with them is a breach
