لا خير في الدنيا ولذاتها

إن لم تكن عاقبةً صالحه

There is no good in this life and its pleasures

If there is no righteous consequence

يا ليت شعري كيف ما وزنتي

خفيفة الخيرات أم راجحه

Oh, I wish I knew how I have fared

Light of good deeds or outweighing

وكيف وجهي أبيض بالرضى

في الحشر أم كالأوجه الكالحه

And how my face will be bright with contentment

On the Day of Resurrection or like darkened faces
