a path to His religion, among the clearest of paths.

  14. Praise be to God, for God enabled me to know Him

the radiant faith, pure among the purest creeds.

  16. Praise be to God, for God fashioned me

in human form, not among the hosts of jinn.

free of descent from Persians, Turks, or Mongols.

  18. Praise be to God, for God placed me

in the mighty family tree of the pure Arabs of old.

  19. Praise be to God, for God endowed me with speech,

with language clear in expression and finely wrought.

  20. Praise be to God, for God commands me

to proclaim Him above having a son or any peer.

  21. Praise be to God, for God fashioned for me

an intellect that distinguishes earnestness from jest.

  22. Praise be, for God ordained for me

a light in my heart and a light traced in my eyes.

  23. Praise be to God, for God created for me

hearing, smell, and the taste of sweetness and bitter oleander.

  24. Praise be to God, for God gave ample scope to

my power and my striving, whether at home or on a journey.
