  1. فدونك من جزء الضياء مسائلاً

    بها يلزم الانسان في الحكم يقتل

    To you I present some issues from the radiance

    By which a person is compelled regarding judgment to kill

  2. فقاتل حرّ مؤمن متعمدا

    ومن هو للطهر النبي مضلل

    So one who intentionally kills a free believing man

    And one who misguides people about the Prophet's purity

  3. وجاحد فرض للصلاة وجاحد الز

    كاة وفرض الصوم والصوم أَفضل

    And rejects the obligation of prayer and rejects obligatory alms

    And rejects the obligation of fasting while fasting is most virtuous

  4. ومن دان باستحلال أَكل لميتة

    بغير اضطرار عند ما هي تؤكل

    And one who believes it permissible to eat carrion

    Without necessity when it can be eaten

  5. وإن مشرك يزني بمسلمة ومن

    بذي محرم عمداً زنى فيقتل

    And a polytheist who fornicates with a Muslim woman

    And one who intentionally commits incest must be killed

  6. ومن يزنُ يوماً بالبهيمة من علا

    سما شاهق يرمي وبالسيف يجزل

    And whoever copulates with an animal

    And climbs to a towering summit must be thrown and cut by the sword

  7. ومن قال عند النابرات مشمرا

    أَيا لفلان يا القبائل اقبلوا

    And whoever says at temples preparing

    Oh so and so, O tribes come

  8. وذو السحر إِن يصمى فيصمى بسحره

    قصاصاً كذا قال الفقيه المعدل

    And a sorcerer, if he prays he prays by his sorcery

    He is killed in retribution, thus said the balanced jurist

  9. ودونك من لم يوجب الحكم قتله

    إِلى أَن يرد التوب بالسيف يقتل

    And here are those whom the judgment does not mandate killing

    Until repentance comes, then killed by the sword

  10. فتارك ذي الاسلام بعد بلوغه ال

    ختان ومرتد لشرك مبدل

    One who abandons Islam after reaching puberty

    And an apostate converting to polytheism

  11. ومن قال ان المصطفى هو ساحر

    ومن عجم أَو شاعر وهو مقول

    And one who says the Chosen is a sorcerer

    Or a foreigner or poet, thus spoken

  12. ومن أَنكر القرآن بعد نزوله

    أَو البعض من آي به لا يرتل

    And one who denies the Quran after its descent

    Or some verses in it, not reciting

  13. ومما عراه الاختلاف فقائل

    فيقتل والباقوت بالضرب يمهل

    And of the issues scholars disputed

    Some say kill, others say flog

  14. فمن لصيام أو صلاة فتارك

    وقد فاتَ وقت وهو عمداً ممهل

    So one who abandons obligatory fasting or prayers

    And the time has passed intentionally delaying

  15. ومن شتم الفاروق والشيخ ذا الوَفا

    عتيقاً فقتل أَو فضرب مململ

    And one who insults the Farooq and the venerable Shaykh

    Kill or flog harshly
