1. يا من له وسط الفؤا

    د منازل لا تدرس

    O you who has amidst the sands

    Homes that are not inhabited

  2. عمرت به وبها على

    شحط المزار مرس

    I have lived in it and in them upon

    The shoreline the rubbed down

  3. جعلت فداك عداك كي

    ف عقيدتي تتهجس

    I have made you my sacrifice, spared you so

    That in my creed you are pure

  4. وتظن أني واقف

    عن مكة وتوسوس

    And you think I stand

    From Mecca, and you whisper

  5. ولها أحن كما لها

    قد حن نضوى الأعيس

    It is most beloved as it is

    The dearest of homes yearned for

  6. ولكم يمين قد حلف

    ت وحلفتي لا تغمس

    And for it is a right that has sworn

    And I swore I will not stain

  7. أني إذا أمر الإل

    ه فدونكم لا أحنس

    That if God commands

    Without you I will not forget

  8. ومعنفي عن مكة

    إلا الشقي الأتعس

    And prevents me from Mecca

    Except the wretched miserable one

  9. وإذا الفتى طهر الفؤا

    د فما بعذل ينجس

    And if the youth purifies intentions

    Then how by injustice will he be stained

  10. اللَه نسأله الرضى

    ومنال ما نتلمس

    We ask God for satisfaction

    And attain what we seek

  11. فغسى يظفرنا بما

    ظفر المجد الأكيس

    So He makes us succeed in what

    Succeeded the glorious dignified one

  12. يا خاطر حاشاك من

    خطر الشكوك فتؤيس

    Oh my thoughts, forbid you

    From the risk of doubts so you despair

  13. أنا لست أرضى يا خلي

    لي ما يقول المبلس

    I am not pleased, o my thoughts

    By what the one seated says

  14. لا بالعهود فخائن

    والعرض ليس يدنس

    Neither by pacts, for traitors

    And honor is not degraded

  15. ما قمت إلا في مآ

    رب بهجنا أتنبس

    I did not rise except in

    Places by which we are delighted

  16. حتى ظفرت ببعضها

    والبعض عز الملمس

    Until I succeeded in some

    And the rest, difficult to attain

  17. وعليكم مني التحي

    ية والثناء الأنفس

    And upon you from me greetings

    And the most precious praise

  18. وإليكم إن قدر ال

    قدوس وهو مقدس

    And to you, if the Holy One destines, and He is Sacred

    In the twelfth, I am coming or covered in dust

  19. في ثاني عشر واصل

    أنا رايح أو مغلس

    And if Hamza comes to you

    In your company to be companionable

  20. وإذا أتاكم حمزة

    في أنسكم يتأنس

    Until I meet up with him by you and the enemy miserable

    And to you soon a system not spoken by the mute one

  21. حتى أوافيه لدي

    كم والعدو متعس

    Without it the foolish and the seeking youth stopped

    From a poet not in eloquence is his thinking wretched

  22. وإليك في عجل نظا

    ماً لم يقله الأخنس

    Or borrows a garment from another he divides

    Free speech he has it gathered by which he is piled up

  23. من دونه وقف الأخي

    طل والفتى المتلمس

    And for him penetrating rhymes, undeviating, tough

    How many pretenders have claimed days ended

  24. من شاعر لا في البدي

    هة فكره يتعس

    And from talents are bankrupt

    If I was far from you, I am the sincere one, and if I attended I dazzle

  25. أو يستعير كسيوة

    من غيره يتقسس

  26. حر الكلام لديه مج

    تمع به متكردس

  27. وله القوافي النافذا

    ت الثيبات العنس

  28. كم مدع مال دول

    ومن القرائح مفلس

  29. إن غبت باك أنا الفصي

    ح وإن حضرت فيبلس
