  1. وداعاً وحسبي اللَه يا عرفات

    وداع تلاق لا صرماً وشتات

    Farewell, enough for me is Allah, O Arafat

    A farewell of reunification, not division and scattering

  2. أيا عرفات جمع شملنا

    ونحن جماعات بكم ونيات

    O Arafat, you brought us together

    While we are groups with you and intentions

  3. أعاد لنا الباري بكم عام قابل

    ومنا حدود ثم مقتبلات

    The Creator brought us back to you another year

    With borders from us then hopes

  4. أثار لنا التوديع وسط قلوبنا

    غداة افترقنا لوعة الزفرات

    Farewell stirred in our hearts

    The morning after we parted, the agony of sighs

  5. وكل محب عند بين حبيبه

    به حسرات إثرها حسرات

    And every lover when away from his beloved

    Has regrets which lead to regrets

  6. فإن قلوب العاشقين مقيمة

    على الحب والأجسام مفترقات

    For the hearts of lovers reside

    On love while bodies are separated

  7. وكل غراب بالتفرق ناعق

    وكل نعيم بعده أزمات

    And every raven caws with separation

    And every blessing is followed by tribulations

  8. يزيد فؤد الصب عند وداعه اح

    تراقاً إذا انهلت به العبرات

    The agony of a lover increases during farewell

    When tears pour down

  9. وما البين مما يستقال كمثل ما

    تقال من الجاني الخطا العثرات

    And nothing is as dire as separation

    Like the mistakes and stumbles of the guilty

  10. رعاك رعاك اللَه يا موقفاً لنا

    ترجى على توديعك الحسنات

    May Allah protect you, O a stand for us

    Where goodness is hoped upon your farewell

  11. ولم أنس من جمع غداة وداعه

    وقد جمعت عندي به الكربات

    I do not forget the gathering the morning of farewell

    When sorrows gathered in me

  12. وما المشعر الأعلى بوادي محصب

    وقد جرعت من وادي مسر الجرعات

    Nor the highest Mash'ar valley in Muhassab

    Where I took sips from the valley of sweet sips

  13. ويا ليلة نلنا مني القلب من منى

    وطاب مقيلاً عنده وبيات

    Oh night when you took my heart from Mina

    And resting there was pleasant and nights

  14. وكم أوقفتنا في رضى اللَه موقفاً

    وقد رميت بعد الضحى الجمرات

    How you made us stand, satisfying Allah

    After Thuhur, we stoned the Jamrat

  15. مواقف يرضى اللَه فيها وقوفنا

    فهل مثلها تلقاه إذاً وقفات

    Stands satisfying Allah where we stood

    Are there any like them if there are stands?

  16. أودعها والعين شكري بدمعها

    كأني على توديعها مقلات

    I bid them farewell while my eyes thank with their tears

    As if I am crying over their farewell

  17. أيا رازق الفرخ الذي مات جلده

    رياشاً لوم تحسن له حركات

    O Provider of the chick whose skin molted

    Feathers though its moves were clumsy

  18. ويا من متى يدع إلى كشف كربة

    كشفن بنعمى منه في اللزبات

    And O You who whenever called to relieve an agony

    Relieved us with blessings during hardships

  19. دعوتك محزوناً وجئتك راغباً

    فلا خيبت مني لك الدعوات

    I called You distressed and came to You hopeful

    So my prayers to You were not unanswered

  20. فهبي غفراناً ولطفاً ونائلاً

    أيا من له عندي يد وهبات

    So grant me forgiveness, kindness and wishes fulfilled

    O You who has gifts and generosity towards me

  21. وكن قابلاً نسكي وحجي وعمرتي

    وزوري لمن زانت به العمرات

    And accept my Hajj, Umrah, ziyarah

    That were adorned with Umrahs

  22. ولا ترجعني دون بابك خائباً

    فلي فيك إعلان الدعا وخفات

    And do not return me, disappointed, from Your door

    For to You I proclaim my prayers and whispers

  23. إذا لم تكن لي من ألوذ بظله

    إذ ارتدفت في الموقف الحسرات

    If You are not the One I seek shade under

    When sorrows chase me during the stands
