Your body knew no illness, only health

Which cast its radiance upon you for all to see

If one finds fault with your paleness, say to him

Can there be anything nobler than the banner of An-Nasir?

If flushed, it is from the length of time

It has grown used to residing in my passionate thoughts

Sweat that flowed as a river, revived by it

Like a parchment cast into the hands of an infidel

A night journey that harmed it

Beware of it, let no touch of an obstinate one come upon it
