1. لَكَ المَجدُ تُروى عَن عِداهُ عُلاهُ

    فَأَيُّ رَجاءٍ قَد عَداهُ نَداهُ

    Yours is the glory, told of far and wide

    So what hope can escape your encompassing stride?

  2. إِذا شِئتَ يَوماً أَن تَراهُ فَإِنَّما

    تَرى ما تَرى في النَجمِ دونَ مَداهُ

    If you desire to behold a thing some day

    You see but what you see in a star, nothing more

  3. وَجودُكَ سُحبٌ وَالسَحائِبُ أَرضُها

    فَهَذي البَرايا لَو عَلِمتَ ثَراهُ

    Your bounty is the rain clouds, the land their place

    These deserts but knew they’d marvel at your grace
