Your reign is but a cloak, and glory its embroidery,
Your rule is truth, though kings are naught but fantasy.
God has promised you dominion over every land,
None can resist you if you rise and take command.
So hunt amidst the kings, descend from Shāwar’s line,
For all the lands from Iraq to Hejaz will be yours to mind.
They hold as their possessions what their hands contain,
Had they but reached, those hands would have grasped all terrain.
