I knew your home though travelers did not know it

My heart told me though my eyes did not show it

The wind barely touched it as it raged

Those left behind made easy work of the damage

Though the ends of the winds were pulled out

No lasting trace could make it doubt

O home you were to the stars of love a orbit

Yet as their orbits I could not support it

You’re but a bride and for you spring does

With everything it buys yearly renew

A home is like those dwelling within

The Creator takes life and gives it again

How many favors has the rain unto the home

Thanked, and the meadows thank it as they roam
