كَم قَد غَزا أَموالَهُ جودُهُ

وَاِستَنجَدَ العافينَ أَعوانا

How his generosity has raided his wealth

And sought the aid of the healthy as helpers

لِيَفخَرِ الناسُ وَما باعَدوا

بِأَن بَراهُ اللَهُ إِنسانا

That people may boast, though they were not far off

That God had created him a human
