O Abu Talib, sanctuary for the seeker of refuge,

The rain of relief in drought, and the light amidst the gloom,

Your loss has indeed devastated the guardians of honor,

So may the Bestower of Bounties send His blessings upon you,

And may your Lord grant you His divine good pleasure,

For you were, to the Chosen One, the very best of uncles.
