أَنا أَخو المُصطفى لا شَكَّ في نَسَبي

مَعهُ رَبيتُ وَسِبطاهُ هُما وَلَدي

I am the brother of al-Mustafa, no doubt in my lineage

I am the brother of the Chosen One; there is no doubt in my lineage,

I was raised with him, and his two sons are my sons

With him I was raised, and his two grandsons are my own children,

جَدّي وَجَدُّ رَسولُ اللَهِ مُتَّحِدٌ

وَفاطِمُ زَوجَتي لا قَولَ ذي فَنَدِ

My grandfather and the grandfather of the Messenger of God are united

My grandfather and the grandfather of God's Messenger are one,

And Fatima is my wife, no question of any doubt

And Fatimah is my wife—this is not the claim of a deluded mind,

صَدَّقتُهُ وَجَميعُ الناسُ في ظُلَمٍ

مِنَ الضَلالَةِ وَالإِشراكِ وَالنَكَدِ

I believed him while all the people were in darkness

I affirmed his truth while all the people were in darkness,

Of misguidance, polytheism, and sorrow

In the shadows of misguidance, idolatry, and misery,

الحَمدُ لِلّهِ فَرداً لا شَريكَ لَهُ

البَرُّ بِالعَبدِ وَالباقي بِلا أَمَدِ

Praise be to God alone, He has no partner

Praise be to God, the Singular, to Whom there is no partner,

The righteous servant remains, and the Everlasting remains forever

The Beneficent to His servant, the Everlasting without end.
