نَصَرنا رَسولَ اللَهِ لَمَّا تَدابَروا

وَثابَ إِلَيهِ المُسلِمونَ ذَوو الحِجى

We gave victory to the Messenger of God when others turned their backs,

And to him flocked the Muslims, possessors of discernment,

ضَرَبنا غُواةَ الناسِ عَنهُ تَكَرُّماً

وَلَمّا يَرَوا قَصدَ السَبيلِ وَلا الهُدى

We struck down the misguided among men in his defense, out of nobility,

When they could neither perceive the right path nor the guidance.

وَلَما أَتانا بِالهُدى كانَ كُلُّنا

عَلى طاعَةِ الرَحمَنِ وَالحَقِّ وَالتُقى

And when he came to us with the Guidance, all of us became

Committed to obeying the Most Merciful, to the Truth, and to piety.
