الحَمدُ لِلّهِ الجَميلِ المُفضلِ

المُسبِغِ المُولي العَطاءِ المُجزِلِ

Praise be to God, the Beautiful, the Bestower of favor,

Who lavishes grace, the Grantor of abundant gifts,

شُكراً عَلى تَمكينِهِ لِرَسولِهِ

بِالنَّصرِ مِنهُ عَلى البُغاةِ الجُهَّلِ

Gratitude is due for His empowering of His Messenger,

With a victory from Him over the ignorant aggressors,

كَم نِعمَةٍ لا أَستَطيعُ بُلوغَها

جُهداً وَلو أَعلَمتُ طاقَة مقوَلِ

How many a blessing am I unable to fully encompass,

Despite my striving, even if I summoned the full power of eloquence?

لِلّهِ أَصبَحَ فَضلُهُ مُتَظاهِراً

مِنهُ عَلَيَّ سَأَلتَ أَم لَم أَسأَلِ

To God belongs the glory; His bounty has become manifest

Upon me, whether I petitioned for it or did not ask.

قَد عايَنَ الأَحزابَ مِن تَأييدِهِ

جُندُ النَبيِّ ذي البَيانِ المُرسَلِ

Through His support, the Confederate parties were witnessed

By the soldiers of the Prophet, the Sent One of clear revelation,

ما فيهِ مَوعِظَةً لِكُلِ مُفَكِّرٍ

إِن كانَ ذا عَقلٍ وَإِن لَم يَعقِلِ

Surely in this is an admonition for every contemplative soul,

If he possesses a mind, even if he fails to comprehend.
