I am the falcon you have heard of
I am the falcon of whom you have been told,
The bravest of birds swooping down
Before whom the noblest birds fall crashing down.
I have endured wars, I am the son of lions
I endured the ravages of war when I was but a child of seven,
When I grew up I destroyed men
And as I turned gray, I annihilated men.
No swords left an enemy for us
Thus, the swords have left no enemy standing against us,
No generosity left any money for me
Nor has my generosity left any wealth in my possession.
