إِطعَن بِها طَعنَ أَبيكَ تُحمَدِ

لا خَيرَ في حَربٍ إِذا لَم تُوقَدِ

Stab with it as your father stabbed

Thrust with it as your father thrust, and you shall be praised,

No good in a war not set ablaze

بِالمَشرَفِيِّ وَالقَنا المُسَدَّدِ

وَالضَربَ بِالخَطِّيِّ وَالمُهَنَّدِ
