My tears did not flow at any misfortune,
My tears have never receded at the onset of calamity,
Except I made you their cause and reason.
Without my making you the cause of the weeping.
And if I remember you dead, my eyes
And when I remember you are dead, my eyes
Shed their tears and overflow and pour down.
Shed tears that overflow and pour forth.
Indeed, I hold dear a soil you walked on,
For I honor the soil in which you have settled
More than seeing any other place woeful.
Too deeply to be seen grieving for anyone else.
