This fleeting world is but illusion
Truly, this world is perishing,
For this world there's no permanence
There is no stability for this earthly life.
This world is but a spider's web
The world is merely like a dwelling
Spun with silken eloquence
That the spider has woven.
Of this world let sustenance suffice
And indeed, all that suffices you from it,
Seeker of wisdom, excellence
O seeker, is simple sustenance.
For soon all in this world shall die
And by my life, before long,
Such is the nature of life's effervescence
Everyone within it shall die.
