لَو أَنَّ قَومي طاوَعَتني سراقهُم

أَمَرتُهُمُ أَمراً يُديخُ الأَعاديا

If only my people had obeyed me when I called them,

Had the nobles of my people obeyed me,

I would have commanded them with a command that crushes the enemies.

I would have issued a command to subdue the enemies.
