And had I answered him, my words would have destroyed him
And had I answered him, he would have been tormented by
My sleeping words and my answer on the verge of death
The biting refutations of my speech and my ready retort,
But I force myself to endure the bitterness of grief
But I turn a blind eye, despite the burning in my heart,
And had I wanted to pounce, I would have bared my fangs
Though had I wished to charge, I would have sunk my fangs.
