I am Ali, son of Abdul Muttalib

I am Ali, the son of Abd al-Muttalib,

By God, we have the greatest right to leadership

We, by the life of God, are worthiest of the Scriptures,

The Prophet Muhammad, the Chosen One, is from us not a lie

From amongst us is the Chosen Prophet, in undeniable truth,

The people of the standard, status, and veil

The People of the Banner, the Sacred Station, and the Veils,

We supported him against most of the Arabs

We supported him against the multitude of the Arabs,

O you deceived slave sent on a mission

O you deluded slave, summoned to the challenge,

Prove it to us, O dog, son of a dog

Stand your ground against us, O rabid dog.
