1. هنيئاً للمواسمِ والتَّهاني

    اذا انهزمت من الجَذَلِ الهمومُ

    Congratulations on the seasons and felicitations

    When worries are defeated by generosity

  2. بَقاءٌ من جمالِ الدين يُحْمي

    به الجاني ويحْمَدهُ العَديمُ

    Remaining from the beauty of religion protecting

    It protects the sinner and the destitute praise it

  3. فانَّ مُحمَّداً عيدُ المَقاوي

    وغَيثُهمُ اذا خَوَتِ النُّجومُ

    For Muhammad is the feast of the honored

    And their rain when the stars withdraw

  4. وليس سُرورُ يومٍ مثل دهْرٍ

    وأنْت سُرور فضلكَ لا يَريمُ

    No day's joy is like an era's

    While you are the joy of your generosity that does not fade

  5. جلوتَ دُجي الحُظوظِ كما تجلَّى

    بواضِحِ وجهكَ الليلُ البَهيمُ

    You have illuminated the darkness of fortunes as it shone

    With the bright light of your face the ignorant night

  6. وجُزْتَ الوصف حتى خِلتُ نقصاً

    اذا مدحوكَ قولهمُ كَريمُ

    You have exceeded all description until I became deficient

    When they praise you their words are generous

  7. فلولا قولُهمْ خِرقٌ جَوادٌ

    لَخفَّتْ بي منَ الغَضبِ الحلومُ

    If not for their words being inadequate, magnanimous

    Anger would have subsided in me

  8. وما عجبي لبذلِكَ والعَطايا

    كما عَجبي لصبْرٍ لا يخيمُ

    I am not surprised by your generosity and favors

    As I am surprised by patience that does not waver

  9. تكاثفُ فيك أثباجُ الأماني

    وشمسُ سماءِ بِشْرِكَ ما تَغيمُ

    Hopes thicken around you

    The sun of your good tidings' sky does not become clouded

  10. وتُكدي المُزْن واليد منك تهْمي

    فأينَ بنانُ كفِّكَ والغيومُ

    You tire wealth but your hand inspires

    So where are the fingers of your hand and the clouds

  11. لقد ملَّ العُفاةُ من العَطايا

    وطبعُكَ لا المَلولُ ولا السَّؤومُ

    The destitute have certainly tired of favors

    While your nature is neither weary nor gloomy

  12. ومُغْبرِّ المَطالعِ مُقْشعِرٍّ

    تباعد عن أهِلَّتهِ النَّعيمُ

    The horizon's cover is dreadful

    Prosperity keeps away from its family

  13. صدوقِ الشَّرِّ كاذبِ كلِّ نوْءٍ

    تموتُ به الصَّفايا والقُرومُ

    Honest despite harm, lying against any evil

    Purity and sanctity die through it

  14. تداعى رِيْفُهُ عطَباً وحَتْقاً

    فأسْعَدُ حالِ ساكنهِ السَّقيمُ

    Its countryside falls into ruin and ransack

    The most fortunate of its inhabitants is the sick

  15. اذا سَلمتْ به أرماقُ حيٍّ

    فَسالمهُ صَؤوتٌ أو بَغومُ

    When the eyelids of the living are safe through it

    Then his greetings are clamors or lowing

  16. غَدتْ حَجرُ الحجال به قبُوراً

    وصارَ مَصارعَ الأدْمِ الصَّريمُ

    The solid rock became tombs through it

    And the courtyards of settlements became the muddy

  17. بعثْتَ عليه صْوباً منْ نَوالٍ

    فمُتْلعِهُ بجمَّتهِ يَعومُ

    You unleashed on it a flood from your support

    So its flooded valleys float through it

  18. فأصبحتِ السِّباخُ به رياضاً

    يميسُ بها منْ النَّشْر النَّسيمُ

    The plains have become gardens through it

    Where the gentle breeze wanders

  19. وكم أخْرستَ من لَجبٍ مهيبٍ

    يَذَّلُّ لهَ السَّميذعُ والخَصيمُ

    You have silenced many ferocious tyrants

    The mighty and the adversary submit to him

  20. برأيٍ ينثرُ الهاماتِ ضَرْباً

    وما نَمَّتْ على القِتْل الكُلومُ

    With an opinion scattering notions violently

    And severity does not grow on killing

  21. فأضحى الجيشُ منبوذاً بقَفْرٍ

    على أشْلائِه طَيْرٌ تَحومُ

    So the army has become abandoned in the desert

    Birds hover over its remnants

  22. وفي بُرْديكَ أغلبُ شمَّريٌّ

    وَخِلٌّ في مودَّتهِ حَميمُ

    In your coldness those with pulled sleeves prevail

    And the devoted friend is intimate in his affection

  23. اذا صافى فسلسالْ بَرودٌ

    واِنْ عادى فمُنْقَعهُ سُمومُ

    When clear, then chains of coolness

    But if an enemy, then his drink is poison

  24. فَضَلْتَ فما تُبارى في المَعالي

    ومنْ جحدَ الضُّحىغُمْرٌ مليمُ

    You have excelled, so none compete in glories

    While one who denies daylight has a miserable blindness

  25. وغيرُ مُنازعٍ في نُبْلِ قَدْرٍ

    وقد شهدتْ يمفخرهِ تَميمُ

    With no peer in the nobility of worth

    And Tamim has already witnessed his pride
