بقيتَ لكلِّ مكْرُمَةٍ وبأسٍ

مُشاراً في المَناقِبِ والمَعالي

You remained for every honor and might

Prominent in virtues and glories

إذا أدْركْتَ من شَهرٍ هِلالاً

أهابَ بكض السُّعودُ إلى هِلالِ

When you attained a crescent of a month

Good fortunes came rushing to the crescent

تُجَنِّبُك الحوادثُ والرَّزايا

فِرارَ الفَلِّ منْ وخْزِ العَوالي

Misfortunes and calamities avoid you

Like snakes fleeing stony heights

فمُستَجْديكَ غانٍ عنْ سَحابٍ

ومُسْتعديك غانٍ عنْ نِزالِ

So your supplicant finds you free of clouds

And your solicitor free of downpours

وكمْ طوَّقْتَ من مِنَنٍ رِقاباً

تَؤودُ كِرامَ أعْناقِ الرِّجالِ

And how many necks you adorned with favors

Bestowing bounty upon the necks of men

كَتمْتَ بُعوثَها فَوشى ثَراءٌ

ونَمَّتْ حالةٌ منْ بعْدِ حالِ

You hid their sending, so affluence spread

And a state thrived after every state

إذا غَشَّى البلادَ قَتامُ مَحْلٍ

بعثْتَ عليه صَوْباً منْ نَوالِ

When darkness covered the lands

You sent upon it a pouring of bounty

فأضْحى كلُّ مُغْبَرٍّ خَصيباً

سَحوحَ الوَدْقِ مُنْهلَّ العَزالي

So every dusty place became fertile

With soft sand and watered hollows

عِمادَ الدولةِ الحامي حِماهُ

إذا خَلَتِ القبائلُ منْ ثِمالِ

The pillar of the state, its protector protects him

When the tribes are devoid of any pillar

رَضيَّاً للإِمامِ ومُرْتَضاهُ

لما يرْضاهُ منْ شَرفِ الخِلالِ

Pleasing to the Imam, his chosen one

For the nobility he approves among men

فلا بَرحتْ مَنازلَك التَّهاني

مَدى أيَّامِنا ومَدى اللَّيالي

So never did congratulations leave your homes

All the days of our lives and all the nights
