1. ومنْ آل المُظفَّرِ عَبْقريٌّ

    يُضيفُ البأسَ منهُ إِلى السَّماحِ

    From the blessed house of Al Muzaffar

    Comes a genius who adds valor to grace

  2. تَقَّيلَ قوْمَه شَرفاً ومجْداً

    وزاد عُلاً على الغُرِّ الصِّباحِ

    He exalted his people in honor and glory

    And surpassed the morning brightness in eminence

  3. فجاءَ كحدِّ سيفٍ هِنْدُوانٍ

    يُصَرِّفهُ كَمِيٌّ في كِفاحِ

    He came like the edge of an Indian sword

    Wielded by a brave warrior in battle

  4. يُنيخُ الجارُ منه إِلى هُمامٍ

    وشيكِ النَّصْرِ مرْجوِّ النجاحِ

    He weakens the enemy to surrender

    At the brink of victory, hopeful of success

  5. إِلى عَضُدٍ لدين اللهِ يَحْمي

    مُعاقدَه من الشَّرِّ المُتاحِ

    A pillar of the faith, protecting

    Its tenets from widespread harm

  6. يفوقُ الأوْرقَ العاديَّ صَبْراً

    وعند العزْمِ أطْرافَ الرَّماحِ

    More patient than a dedicated worshipper

    And firmer than spear tips when resolved

  7. وتلقاهُ سِماماً في الأعادي

    وفي الخِلانِ منْ ماءٍ وراحِ

    He faces enemies with gallantry

    And shows kindness amid calamities

  8. يظنُّ ألوفَ جدواه احتقاراً

    شِراكَ النَّعْلِ أورَثَّ النَّصاح

    He considers thousands of soldiers insignificant

    A mere shoe strap, the counselor cautioned

  9. فهُنئَتِ المواسمُ والتَّهاني

    به ما هَبَّ مُختلِفُ الرَّياحِ

    Seasons and celebrations were blessed

    By him, as diverse winds blew about
