When the meadow calls her and woos her,
And the rose longs for her with its fragrance,
And she mingles with its domains as she pleases,
With no limits set to restrain her,
And the north wind kisses and caresses her,
Then do not blame her for her misery,
Where Abu Al-Qasim seeks her,
Swift for the lofty ones in their abodes,
If poverty approaches, he enriches her,
And if distress appears, he relieves her,
Good fortune to the Prophet's land in its dwellings,
And to the brave steeds in its plains,
The ignoble envy her in her advance,
Thus the minister attained his utmost desire.
