بقيتَ أبا الفضل الذي شاهِدٌ لهُ

بفضْلٍ وإِفْضالٍ فَقيرٌ وعالِمُ

You remain Abu Al-Fadl, who is witnessed for

With virtue and generosity, poor yet learned

ففتْواك عند المُشكلاتِ صَوارمٌ

وجدْواك عند المُجْدباتِ غَمائِمُ

Your fatwas in difficulties are sharp swords

They found you in droughts to be rain clouds

وأنت بهاءُ الدين من غير مِرْيَةٍ

له منكَ رُكْنٌ راسِخٌ ودَعائمُ

You are the splendor of religion, without doubt

Pillars for it fixed and firm you amount

لمالِكَ بالكسْب الحميد وبالنَّدى

مَدى الدَّهْرِ والأيَّامِ بانٍ وهادم

For possessions with fair earnings and dew

Over days and time, erect and efface

وأنت لراجي خيرك الدهرَ رازِقٌ

وللاَّثم الَّلاحي على الجودِ حارِم

You're for those hoping your goodness, providing

And for seekers of generosity, preventing

وللنَّصْر يُبديه مضاؤك مُظْهرٌ

وللجود يُخْفيه حَياؤكَ كاتِمُ

For victory, your light's glow is displaying

For generosity, your shyness, concealing

فهُنيت بالشَّهر الحرام وهُنِّيَتْ

ببيضِ أياديكَ العُلى والمَكارِمُ

So it gladdened with the holy month, made delighted

By your lofty white hands and all graces recited
