وَبَيْنَ الخَدِّ والشَّفَتَيْنِ خَالٌ
كَزُنْجيٍّ أَتى رَوْضاً صَباحَا
And between the cheek and lips a mole
Like an Abyssinian who came to a garden in the morning
تَحيَّر فِي الرِّيَاضِ فَلَيْسَ يَدْرِي
أَيجْنِي الوَرْدَ أَمْ يَجْنِي الأَقاحَا
Bewildered among the flowers, not knowing
Whether to pick the roses or the apples
