قُلْتُ لِلائِمِ في الدَّمْ

عِ وَقَدْ نَمَّ بِحَالي

I said to the one blaming me for shedding tears

While he was sleeping unaware of my state

مُنْذُ أَحْبَبْتُ عَلِيّاً

صَارَ دَمْعِي مُتَوالي

Since I fell in love with Ali

My tears have been continuously flowing
