Ask me not to change my love, for some loves fully capture the heart

Yet chastisements for loving you should not against me be thought

I have a fawn whose beauty my heart holds most dear

His love that my heart cherishes, ever precious

So my love for him though dead hopes to be resurrected

If no perverseness from people should come to be

For every love of humankind is but borrowed

Yet my love for you within me is true and uncoerced
