وَمُهَفْهَفٍ كَالغُصْنِ في المَيَلِ
عَاتَبْتُهُ فَاحْمَرَّ مِنْ خَجَلِ
Swaying like a bough in the night
I chided him, and he blushed with shame
لَمَّا شَمَمْتُ الخَمْرَ مِنْ فَمِهِ
وَفَّيتُهُ حَدّاً مِنَ القُبَلِ
When I smelled the wine on his breath
I granted him a kiss, a limit of kisses
