اللَهَ اللَهَ يا أَبا الحَسَنِ

في آلِ وَهبٍ كَواكِبِ اليَمَنِ

By God, O Abul Hasan

Among the family of Wahb are stars of Yemen

لا تُغرِيَن شُؤمَكَ القَديمَ بِهِم

فَيُصبِحوا كَالرُسومِ وَالدِمَن

Let not your ancient grudges against them deceive you

Lest they become like fading paintings and ruins
