I yearn for the gleam of lanterns in the dark dungeons,
And the flash of lightning in mellow torrential rain,
Inclining with my father Ali's determination,
Towards the brilliant dawn shining in the eyes.
Many stalled hopes were later fulfilled,
When time's delay ended after a while.
The clouds were never suspect
Of plotting at dawn or being dubious.
So do not mix my cup with muddy water,
Take it back to the clear flowing spring.
