Whoever has splendor in this world—
Whoever in this life has a glory,
we are among the world's spectators.
We are from the window of this life,
We gaze at it from close by, in sorrow,
We gaze upon it with envy and sorrow,
as though we were a word without meaning.
As if we are words devoid of any meaning.
