جَزى اللَهُ خَيراً وَالجَزاءُ بِكَفِّهِ
بَنى السَمطِ أَخدانَ السَماحَةِ وَالمَجدِ
May God reward with good—and reward is in His hand—
May Allah reward well, and His reward is in His hand
the sons of al-Samt, companions of generosity and glory.
The sons of Samit, brothers of generosity and glory
هُمُ جَبَروني وَالمَهامِهُ بَينَنا
كَما اِرفَضَّ غَيثٌ مِن تِهامَةَ في نَجدِ
They succored me, though vast deserts lay between us,
They have compelled me, and the tasks between us
as rain from Tihamah poured down in Najd.
