Ah, O gust of wind, carry my message
Oh messenger of the wind, deliver my message
to Sulayma, and allude to me as though you were joking.
To Sulaima, and tease her as if in play,
And convey my greetings to her, and tell her:
Give her my greetings, and say,
You claimed that one who divulges would not conceal the secret.
"They claim no secret remains hidden if shared."
So if Sulayma asks about me, tell her:
If Sulaima asks of me, then tell her:
He has lingering traces of his illness, yet he is well.
"He is covered in the dust of his affliction, yet he is well."
