My princess, do not forgive my sin,
My princess, do not forgive my sin
For my sin is the intensity of love.
For my sin is the intensity of love
Oh, would that I myself were the one afflicted
I wish it were me who was afflicted
With even the slightest of that sin from you.
By you with the slightest of that sin
I spoke to my heart about you, lying,
I talked to my heart about you untruthfully
Until I grew ashamed before my own heart.
Until I was ashamed of my own heart
If it pleases you that I suffer, and that
If it satisfies you that I be tormented so
I die of sorrow and anguish,
That I die of sorrow and distress
Then I will listen and obey you;
Then obedience and compliance are mine to you
What pleases you is enough for me—enough.
It is enough for me what satisfies you, it is enough
