Do you think Haytham can appease
Do you see Haytham able to bear my displeasure,
a chamberlain who knits his brows at us?
With his frowning eyebrows bringing them together for me?
Or do you think the stalling will leave me anything to spare
Or do you see the radiant one leaving a surplus for me
from a bounty some of which I have spent on him?
Of a gift I have spent from upon him?
I complain only of my intercessor; is there for me
I do not complain except to my intercessor, so is there for me
an intercessor with the one who intercedes for me with him?
An intercessor to my intercessor to him?
