O you who travels willingly
Nobly riding the saddled horses
Say to my beloved if you reach him
Greetings, say his longing slave
Your noble soul disdains to feel
The passion that I constantly feel
O you so near my heart though so far
In place throughout the horizons afar
Say to him whose memory my heart
Holds though we're parted, ne'er to part
My tears give me away, so does my sighing
As long as I live, till the day we are meeting
I wonder at you, for in my heart you remain
While my heart longs for you, in yearning and pain
