مُتَمرض مَرض الزَمان لِأَجلِهِ

إِذ عَمهُ بِسَوابغ الإِحسان

Sick of the malady of time

As it overwhelms with complete kindness

وَإِذا شَكى أَلم السقام تَود لَو

وَضَعتُهُ عَين الغيد في الأَجفان

And if the pain of illness complains, you would wish

To place it in the eye of the wound in the eyelids
