    وَلذلي وَغُربَتي وَاِنكِساري

    Who will find my passion and confusion, my need

  2. رَوعة بكرة وَاخرى مَساءً

    وَهُموم تَجيءُ وَسَط النَهار

    Anxiety comes at dawn and dusk

    Sorrows arrive midst the day

  3. فَلَعَلَ الرَحيم يَأذن يَوماً

    بِانتِفاذي مِن لجة التَيار

    Perhaps the Merciful will allow, one day

    My escape from the raging currents
